Introduction
Welcome to Rising Within. By accessing this website (www.risingwithin.ca) or booking any service offered by Rising Within, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
These terms apply to all visitors, clients, course participants, and members. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or book our services.
Rising Within is operated by Melanie Flaro, based in Williamstown, Ontario, Canada.
Services Offered
Rising Within offers the following services:

One-on-one Holy Fire Reiki sessions (in-person)

Distant healing sessions (remote)

Group meditation series

Reiki certification courses (Holy Fire Usui Reiki Levels I–IV)

Spiritual development courses (including the Enlightenment Course and Angel Chakra Course)

Gift cards redeemable for any of the above services

Membership plans (when available)
All services are for wellness and personal development purposes only. Rising Within reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue any service or offering at any time.
Health and Wellness Disclaimer
The services offered by Rising Within — including Reiki energy healing, guided meditation, and all related practices — are complementary wellness services and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Reiki and energy healing are not regulated health professions in Ontario. Rising Within does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or mental health disorder. Clients are encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical or mental health concerns.
By booking a session or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.
Bookings and Appointments
All sessions must be booked in advance through the Rising Within website.
By completing a booking, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Rising Within reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking at its discretion. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations and No Show Policy
We understand that life happens. To respect Melanie's time and allow other clients to book, the following policy applies:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before a scheduled session will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no charge.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a session may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session cost.

No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged the full session fee.

Distant healing sessions that have already been initiated cannot be cancelled or refunded.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact Melanie as early as possible at info@risingwithin.ca or 613-362-5878.
Note: This policy is a general guideline. Melanie may use her discretion in exceptional circumstances such as illness or emergencies.
Payments and Refunds
Payment for services is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. Accepted payment methods are listed at checkout on the Rising Within website.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined above. If you have a concern about a charge, please reach out to info@risingwithin.ca within 7 days of the transaction.
Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value. They may be used toward any Rising Within service and do not expire.
Courses and Certifications
Enrollment in any Rising Within course constitutes agreement to participate respectfully and in good faith. Course dates, locations, and prerequisites will be communicated at the time of enrollment.
Reiki certifications issued by Rising Within are based on completion of the relevant course and Melanie's assessment of readiness. Rising Within does not guarantee that certifications will be recognized by any third-party organization or employer.
Course materials shared during any Rising Within course are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission from Rising Within.
Memberships
Rising Within membership plans are currently being developed. Full membership terms — including billing cycles, inclusions, and cancellation procedures — will be published and must be agreed to at the time of enrollment.
Rising Within reserves the right to modify membership pricing and inclusions with reasonable advance notice to existing members.
Gift Cards
Rising Within gift cards are available for purchase through the website. Gift cards:

Are non-refundable and have no cash value

May be applied to any Rising Within service

Do not expire

Cannot be exchanged for cash
If a gift card is lost or stolen, Rising Within is not responsible for unauthorized use.
Privacy Policy
Rising Within is committed to protecting your personal information. Personal details collected through bookings, contact forms, and course enrollments are used solely to provide and improve our services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

The content on www.risingwithin.ca, including text, images, and course materials, is the property of Rising Within and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Rising Within makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on this website but does not guarantee that all content is current or error-free. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rising Within and Melanie Flaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.
By booking a session or enrolling in a course, clients acknowledge and accept the inherent nature of energy healing and wellness practices, and agree that Rising Within is not responsible for outcomes, reactions, or experiences during or after a session.
Changes to These Terms
Rising Within reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available at www.risingwithin.ca. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
